From August 1 through August 4, 2004, eleven youth, The Rev. Dr. Paul Collins, Ann Edenfield, and Sonlight Staff Larson Winchester-Silbaugh & Hannah went backpacking in the Wimeneuche Wilderness near Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

The following is Ann Edenfield's message to those that supported this trip:

Dear Friends,

There were so many people praying for us on this backpacking trip that I wanted to share my reflections of the trip with you. I have also included the ‘thank you comments’ from each of the youth to the owners of the camp, Winston and Mary Marugg. I truly felt your prayers and feel we returned safely because of them.
