The Wings Party model is similar to a summer church camping program that is fun, active, and gets all members of the congregation involved in youth ministry. The Wings Program model has three parties per year: a Christmas Party, an Easter Party, and a Back-to-School Party.

The Wings Party is based on Acts 2:42

Wings is a focused ministry outreach based on the LOGOS program of LOGOS System Associates, which is a midweek youth and children’s program in over 25 different denominations in thousands of churches across the United States, Canada, parts of Europe, Japan, Russia, and India. Wings is supported by Prison Fellowship and the Light & Liberty Jail Ministry in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Wings volunteers are caring youth and adults from area churches who have a special call to this unique ministry. Many are also associated with ministries like Prison Fellowship, the Light & Liberty Jail Ministry, LOGOS System Associates, and Kairos.

I envisioned the Wings Ministry as a program wherein caring individuals could reach out and support the children and family members of inmates, helping them out of their "arrest" and showing them renewed life through Christ. It is heartwarming to know the "wings" of the volunteers serve to create a protective and safe haven for children and spouses of inmates. -- Quote from FAMILY ARRESTED: HOW TO SURVIVE THE INCARCERATION OF A LOVED ONE by Ann Edenfield.
