This is the first report on the Wings mission trip to India. It was filed by Ann Edenfield Sweet before the team left for India.

Dearest Friends,

I want to thank all of you who have been praying and who will continue to pray for our trip. Special thanks to those of you who have donated money and supplies! Forgive me if I have not sent you an individual note of thanks, as now I’m taking care of last minute details as I leave at 6:20 am tomorrow.

I am asking that you please PRAY for the team and for all the people we meet. Our general schedule is listed below and Rev. Glory keeps reminding us to Be ready for too much mission!” The doors are opening up and we will be there, ready, and eager to go through them!

We will try to email photos and updates to Jim Harmon, our webmaster. He will post any information on our website at www.WingsMinistry.org. I invite you to check it regularly and I will do my best to report each new day’s experiences.

3/18 – Sat.	Wings Party with lepers	Welcome by tsunami orphan children
3/19 – Sun	Attend two churches	Village outreach
3/20 – Mon.	Salem prison Wings Party	Party in rural hospital
3/21 – Tues.	Pastors’ seminar
3/22 – Wed.	Coimbatore central jail	Meeting with pastors
3/23 – Thurs.	Coimbatore sub jail	Meeting in a church
3/24 – Fri.	Women leaders retreat in Tamil Methodist church
3/25 – Sat.	Pondy (old French colony) a tsunami affected region and Wings Party in jail.
3/26 – Sun.	Visit to Chennai and preach at some churches and prisons
3/27 – Mon.	Wings Party in Chennai jails
3/28 – Tues.	Fly to Delhi – visit churches, prisons, jails, orphanages
3/29 – Wed.	Taj Mahal
3/30 – Thurs.	Visit schools and prisons in Delhi region
3/31 – Fri.	Home to the United States.
